I meant ‘you’ in a more general way, as in: everybody can count my abs. And with ‘can’ I didn’t mean everybody can walk up to me and start counting them, but more that it was possible.
She heard him laugh and she smiled at it, it was nice to get a realy laugh and not a smirking chuckle, she quite liked her time with Nott, and wondered why he had picked Emma, honestly she was jealous of the girl for it, she had a liking towards Nott for a long time but let it settle when it seemed obvious that she was never going to get her luck with him. She knew they’d match pretty evenly and quite well too, but this was not the time to think of that, so she shook her head to get it back into what they were talking about.
“Anything you say hey Nott? Well this gives me a lot to work with, at least you have the right name, the bitch is a slag. That is in the past, she is nothing anymore.” Marie stopped and thought for a moment then looked up at Theo with a smirk on her lips, “I have a few questions, did you perhaps collect anything while you were dating? or gather any interesting information? there is so so much you could have learned with out even knowing it. You must know something that may hurt her if we blow it up to the students.”
“No, not really,” Theo said. “And even if I did, she doesn’t care about what other people say about her, does she? At least, that’s what she says. I’m sure she’s lying, but I can’t prove it and as long as she pretends it doesn’t hurt her, we’ll get nowhere. I have to humiliate her in public, and her looking like she doesn’t give a shit wouldn’t do the trick. I’ll have to think about it.”
“Have you heard about that first year Hufflepuff gone missing? I heard it was a Mudblood, and that apparently some Slytherin thought it necessary to punish her older sister, thus hurting the little girl. Now who would do such a thing?” he asked, though they both knew there were only two persons in this school crazy enough to do such a thing: Bellatrix and Rodolphus.
